Coordinator of Religious Education - We are a multi-cultural parish seeking a passionate and motivated individual that can bring the love of Jesus to the children and their families of our parish. Classes are offered to pre-K4 through 8th grade students, and a good possibility of having classes for students that must make up sacraments (3rd grade into high school). We offer Level 1 Catechesis of the Good Shephard (CGS) for our Prek4-Kindergartners and will be adding Level 2 CGS this fall. The Faith and Life series is the main curriculum as well as the knowledge our Catechists bring to their students. The ideal candidate must be an active practicing Catholic, bilingual/trilingual, patient, organized, outgoing and a self-starter. Coordinator of Youth Minister – It’s time to rebuild the Youth Ministry program here in Battle Creek. We are seeking a youth minister to develop a Youth Ministry Program for Catholic High School students in Battle Creek. The individual would work with multi-cultural high-school youth to appreciate their Catholic faith and prepare them for the modern world by planning retreats, weekly youth gatherings, organize Mission trips such as CHWC, plan and carry our attendance to NCYC and other retreats (i.e. Steubenville). Candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Catholic faith, be outgoing, a self-starter, have good management and interpersonal skills. Being bilingual or trilingual would be a plus!
